366 MEMBERS’ INTERESTS

Cllr I Dalgarno, as he is also a Central Bedfordshire Councillor, took no part in the voting on the planning applications agenda items 6 (a) and 6 (b).

No other declarations of personal or prejudicial interests were received.

There was no public participation

Members received a copy of the minutes of the Planning Committee held on 1 September 2009

that the Minutes of the meeting of the Planning Committee held on 1 September 2009 be confirmed and signed by the Chairman as a true record.

There were no matters arising from the previous meeting.

(a) CB/09/05827/FULL – Full: First floor side extension and alterations to second floor windows – 26 The Hermitage, Arlesey SG15 6XE

Recommended: to approve this proposal subject to neighbours’ comments being taken into consideration, otherwise no objections from the Town Council

(b) CB/09/05858/FULL – Full: Erection of cattery building with access and parking – Fountain Cottage, Hitchin Road, Arlesey SG15 6SE

Recommended: to approve and express strong support from the Town Council for this proposal.

372 LOCAL DEVELOPMENT FRAMEWORK

Cllr Hugh Harper reported on the Local Development Framework and gave an update concerning the Inspector’s response to the draft report.  He said this should have been received by Friday 11 September 2009 but is likely to be available in the coming week. He felt the outcome for Arlesey could be favourable.
