Minutes of a meeting of the PLANNING COMMITTEE, Arlesey Town Council held in the Village Hall, Arlesey on Tuesday 3 June 2008 following the Town Council meeting

Cllr I Dalgarno, as District Councillor, took no part in the voting on the planning applications agenda items 6 (a) and 6 (b) Cllr H Harper, as District Councillor, took no part in the voting on the planning applications agenda items 6 (a) and 6 (b) 183 PUBLIC PARTICIPATION There was no public participation 184 MINUTES OF THE PREVIOUS MEETING RESOLVED that the Minutes of the meeting of the Committee held on 6 May 2008 be confirmed and signed by the Chairman as a true record 185 MATTERS ARISING There were no matters arising from the previous meeting 186 PLANNING APPLICATIONS (a) 08/00704/FULL - Full: Single storey extension to detached laundry room Chase House Residential Nursing Home, House Lane, Arlesey SG15 6YA Recommended: to approve this proposal, no objections from the Town Council (b) 08/00819/FULL Full: Re-profiling dangerous cliff The Blue Lagoon Lake, Hitchin Road, Arlesey Recommended: to approve this proposal, no objections from the Town Council 187 DECISIONS 08/00256/FULL Full: Extension and alterations comprising two storey side extension to the north gable and new chalet roof to existing single storey dwelling and formation of dormers to form two semi-detached dwellings - 65 Hitchin Road, Arlesey, SG15 6RS APPROVED AGREED to note the above planning decision 188 MID BEDS DISTRICT COUNCIL Local Government Act 1985 Street Naming and Numbering Planning Application 08/00256/FULL 65 Hitchin Road, Arlesey SG15 6RS Proposal: Postal addresses for 2 semi-detached dwellings, following conversion of existing bungalow: Plot 1: 65 Hitchin Road, Arlesey SG15 6RS Plot 2: 1a London Row, Arlesey SG15 6RX AGREED to note the above postal addresses 189 MID BEDS DISTRICT COUNCIL Planning Training A further letter from Andrew Davie, Development Control Manager of MBDC suggested Tuesday 24 June 2008 as a suitable date to meet with Members for the planning questions and answers session. Mr Davie would also like to know of any specific areas that Members would like them to address. Cllr Harper said he had spoken to Mr Davie who requested that the meeting started at 6pm RESOLVED Members agreed the 24 June 2008 at 6pm was a suitable date for the planning training session 190 MID BEDS DISTRICT COUNCIL Planning Obligations - Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) The Chairman said printed versions of the Background Paper and the Planning Obligations Strategy Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) were now available in the office for Members to view.
