Apologies for absence were received from Cllr Ms T Osborne and Cllr M Rainbow.

There was no public participation.  

104 MINUTES OF THE PREVIOUS MEETING

Prior to the meeting Members received a copy of the minutes of the Planning Committee meeting held on the 17January 2012. 

It was RESOLVED

that the Minutes of the meeting of the Planning Committee held on the 17 January 2012 be confirmed and signed by the Chairman as a true record. 

105 MATTERS ARISING

There were no matters arising from the previous meeting. 

106 PLANNING APPLICATIONS

(a) CB/11/02857/FULL – Single storey extension to the front – 27 Vicarage Close, Arlesey SG15 6XH

            Recommended: to approve this proposal subject to neighbours’ comments being taken into consideration, otherwise no objections from the Town Council

(b) CB/11/03370/FULL – Retention of use of land as a residential caravan site for 6 Gypsy families, including hardstanding, utility blocks and landscaping – Land to the rear of 197 Hitchin Road, Arlesey     

            Recommended: to REFUSE this application on the same grounds as the Town Council’s response in the letter dated 14 October 2011 with the addition that it has been noted there are residents living at this address other than the Rooney family

(c) CB/12/00231/FULL – Erection of single storey side extension – 9 Chase Close, Arlesey SG15 6UT

            Recommended: to approve this proposal subject to neighbours’ comments being taken into consideration, otherwise no objections from the Town Council

(d) CB/12/00252/FULL – Single storey side and rear extension with carport – 116 Stotfold Road, Arlesey SG15 6XR
