402 APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE

Apologies for absence were received from Cllrs. Mrs D Archer, D Beatham, J Caffrey, N Daniels and Mrs C Harris.

Cllr I Dalgarno, as he is also a Central Bedfordshire Councillor, took no part in the voting on the planning applications agenda items 6 (a) and 6 (b). 

No declarations of personal or prejudicial interests were received.

There was no public participation

Members received a copy of the minutes of the Planning Committee meeting held on 1 December 2009

that the Minutes of the meeting of the Planning Committee held on 1 December 2009 be confirmed and signed by the Chairman as a true record.

406 MATTERS ARISING

There were no matters arising from the previous meeting.

(a) CB/09/06774/FULL – Full: Conversion of Public House into dwelling following demolition of lean to store to rear of building and cellar building in yard – The Three Tuns, 86 High Street, Arlesey SG15 6SN

Recommended: to approve this proposal, no objections from the Town Council

(b) TPO/09/00163 – Prune one Silver Birch tree within the front garden – 72 Chase Hill Road, Arlesey SG15 6UD

Recommended: to approve this proposal, no objections from the Town Council

408 PLANNING DECISIONS

CB/09/05914/FULL – Full: Change of use of land to use as residential caravan site for four gypsy families with a total of 8 caravans, erection of 2 amenity blocks and landscaping – Land rear of 197 Hitchin Road, Arlesey SG15 6SE

A Temporary Stop Notice has been received due to failure to submit the details required by condition 2 of the above planning permission, relating to foul surface water drainage.

409 CENTRAL BEDFORDSHIRE COUNCIL - STREET NAMING

(a) Correspondence received from Central Bedfordshire Council confirms the postal address as 1A Lewis Lane, Arlesey SG15 6FB for the detached bungalow, following demolition of the existing dairy building at 260 High Street, Arlesey.

to note the confirmed postal address for 1A Lewis Lane, Arlesey SG15 6FB  

(b) Correspondence received from Central Bedfordshire Council confirms the postal addresses as 1 to 7 Little Field Close, Arlesey SG15 6AE, for Land To The Rear of 32-42 House Lane, Arlesey.
