ARLESEY TOWN COUNCIL Minutes of a meeting of the PLANNING COMMITTEE, Arlesey Town Council held in the Village Hall, Arlesey on Tuesday 15 February 2011. In attendance: 1 member of the public 564 APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE Apologies for absence were received from Cllr J Caffrey, Cllr I Dalgarno and Cllr D West. 565 MEMBERS’ INTERESTS No declarations of personal or prejudicial interests were received. 566 PUBLIC PARTICIPATION There was no public participation 567 MINUTES OF THE PREVIOUS MEETING Members received a copy of the minutes of the Planning Committee meeting held on 18 January 2011. RESOLVED that the Minutes of the meeting of the Planning Committee held on the 18 January 2011 be confirmed and signed by the Chairman as a true record. 568 MATTERS ARISING There were no matters arising from the previous meeting. 569 PLANNING APPLICATION CB/11/00193/LDCE – Lawful Development Certificate for existing use of land and buildings as Boarding Kennels – Fairfield Boarding Kennels, Hitchin Road, Arlesey SG15 6SE Recommended: to approve this proposal, no objections from the Town Council 570 CENTRAL BEDFORDSHIRE COUNCIL – STREET NAMING AND NUMBERING The Chairman reported that confirmation had been received from Central Bedfordshire Council of the postal addresses for the existing bungalow plus the two new additional dwellings for the land at 206 High Street, Arlesey: Plot C: 206 High Street, Arlesey 206 High Street 1B Lymans Road, Arlesey Plot B: 1C Lymans Road, Arlesey AGREED to note the postal addresses for the existing bungalow plus the two new additional dwellings for the land at 206 High Street, Arlesey 571 GYPSY AND TRAVELLER CONSULTATION Cllr Harper gave an update on the Gypsy and Traveller Consultation process. He informed Members that over 1,000 letters from residents had been received in the office and he will be taking them to Central Bedfordshire Council tomorrow. He said that some letters may have been sent direct to Central Bedfordshire. He thanked the Steering Group for their hard work. Cllr Harper said that the next stage will be the Inspector’s hearing when objections will be heard. He read out to Members the letter of objection that the Town Council were submitting.
