Minutes of a meeting of the PLANNING COMMITTEE, Arlesey Town Council held in the Village Hall, Arlesey on Tuesday 17 November 2009 PRESENT: Cllrs: H Harper (Chairman) R Harris Mrs D Archer D Page Mrs L Bowskill M Rainbow I Dalgarno D West Mrs H Frost Also present: Mrs E Hare (Town Clerk) 386 ELECTION OF CHAIRMAN FOR THIS MEETING The Chairman and Vice-Chairman were not present for this meeting and a proposal was needed for someone to chair the meeting. It was proposed and seconded that Cllr Hugh Harper be elected as the Chairman for the meeting. 387 APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE Apologies for absence were received from Cllr D Beatham, Cllr Mrs C Harris, Cllr C Howitt and Cllr V Williams 388 MEMBERS’ INTERESTS Cllr I Dalgarno, as he is also a Central Bedfordshire Councillor, took no part in the voting on the planning applications agenda items 6 (a) and 6 (b). No declarations of personal or prejudicial interests were received. 389 PUBLIC PARTICIPATION There was no public participation 390 MINUTES OF THE PREVIOUS MEETING Members received a copy of the minutes of the Planning Committee meeting held on 3 November 2009 RESOLVED that the Minutes of the meeting of the Planning Committee held on 3 November 2009 be confirmed and signed by the Chairman as a true record. 391 MATTERS ARISING There were no matters arising from the previous meeting. 392 PLANNING APPLICATIONS (a) CB/09/06231/FULL – Full: Two storey side extension and single storey front extension – 42 Lymans Road, Arlesey SG15 6TH Recommended: to approve this proposal subject to neighbours’ comments being taken into consideration, otherwise no objections from the Town Council (b) CB/09/06440/ FULL – Full: Erection of single dwelling following demolition of existing buildings – The Forge, High Street, Arlesey Recommended: to approve this proposal, no objections from the Town Council 393 CENTRAL BEDFORDSHIRE COUNCIL - STREET NAMING An application for Street Naming was received for Land to the rear of 32 to 42 House Lane, postal addresses for 7 dwellings. This had been brought forward from the last Planning meeting for Members to give this further consideration. It was proposed the street name should be Little Field Close. RESOLVED to propose Little Field Close is the street name for the 7 dwellings on the Land to the rear of 32 to 42 House Lane, Arlesey. CHAIRMAN
