Apologies for absence were received from Cllr Mrs L Bowskill and Cllr Mrs C Harris      

Planning Application Agenda item 6 (c) - CB/11/00808/FULL – Proposed rear conservatory; and front entrance porch, with minor

internal alteration and new parking layout – 6 St Peter’s Avenue, Arlesey SG15 6UR

Cllr D West declared a personal interest on the grounds that he is a close neighbour to the property, and took no part in the voting on this application

Members received a copy of the minutes of the Planning Committee meeting held on 15 March 2011.

RESOLVED 

that the Minutes of the meeting of the Planning Committee held on the 15 March 2011 be confirmed and signed by the Chairman as a true record.           

591 MATTERS ARISING

There were no matters arising from the previous meeting. 

592 PLANNING APPLICATIONS

(a) CB/11/00699/FULL – A cable stayed structure which supports wind monitoring equipment.  Temporary permission for a period of up to 18 months – Wilbury Farm, Hitchin Road, Arlesey SG15 6SF

Recommended: to REFUSE this proposal for the following reasons:

Council would like more information as to why the applicant wants to erect wind monitoring equipment

It will have a detrimental impact on the general ambience of the area

Has the danger to low flying aircraft been considered

Too close to public footpath

(b) CB/11/00721/FULL – Replacement of 3 No caravan pitches with 3 No. camping pods within existing camp site and 8 No. parking spaces – Henlow Lakes and Riverside, Arlesey Road, Henlow

Recommended: to approve this proposal no objections from the Town Council

(c) CB/11/00808/FULL – Proposed rear conservatory; and front entrance porch, with minor internal alteration and new parking layout – 6 St Peter’s Avenue, Arlesey SG15 6UR

Recommended: to approve this proposal subject to neighbours’ comments being taken into consideration, otherwise no objections from the Town Council
