ARLESEY TOWN COUNCIL Minutes of a meeting of the PLANNING COMMITTEE, Arlesey Town Council held in the Village Hall, Arlesey on Tuesday 1 March 2011. PRESENT: Cllrs: V Williams (Chairman) H Harper Mrs D Archer Mrs C Harris Mrs L Bowskill R Harris J Caffrey C Howitt I Dalgarno M Rainbow N Daniels A White Also present: Mrs E Hare (Town Clerk) and Mrs L Rowe (Assistant Clerk). 572 APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE Apologies for absence were received from Cllr Mrs H Frost, Cllr D Page and Cllr D West. 573 MEMBERS’ INTERESTS No declarations of personal or prejudicial interests were received. 574 PUBLIC PARTICIPATION There was no public participation 575 MINUTES OF THE PREVIOUS MEETING Members received a copy of the minutes of the Planning Committee meeting held on 15 February 2011. RESOLVED that the Minutes of the meeting of the Planning Committee held on the 15 February 2011 be confirmed and signed by the Chairman as a true record. 576 MATTERS ARISING There were no matters arising from the previous meeting. 577 PLANNING APPLICATION CB/11/00356/FULL – Full: Single storey front and rear extension – 21 Glebe Avenue, Arlesey SG15 6UP Recommended: to approve this proposal no objections from the Town Council 578 BIGGLESWADE TOWN CENTRE STRATEGY AND MASTERPLAN (SPD) The Chairman reported that the draft masterplan document for the improvements and regeneration of Biggleswade Town Centre has been published for consultation. Any comments should be made by 5.00pm on Wednesday 30 March 2011. RESOLVED there are no comments to make from Arlesey Town Council 579 CENTRAL BEDFORDSHIRE COUNCIL – CORRESPONDENCE The Chairman read the correspondence received from Central Bedfordshire Council inviting Ward Members and Town and Parish Councillors to a training event at Priory House. There are three dates available, 15th, 22nd and 24th March 2011. Any Members wishing to attend should let the Clerk know in order that a place can be booked. RESOLVED Cllr Harper, Cllr Dalgarno, Cllr Caffrey, Cllr Daniels and Cllr Harris attend the workshops on 24 March 2011 580 CENTRAL BEDFORDSHIRE COUNCIL – STREET NAMING AND NUMBERING The Chairman reported that confirmation had been received from Central Bedfordshire Council of the postal addresses of the dwellings being constructed at the Three Tuns, 86 High Street, Arlesey SG15 6SN: The Three Tuns Pub is being converted to a residential dwelling but will retain the address of the Three Tuns, 86 High Street, Arlesey SG15 6SN Plots 1 to 7 will be numbered 1 to 7 Three Tuns Close, Arlesey SG15 6AG AGREED to note the street naming as Three Tuns Close and the respective numbering CHAIRMANDATE
