423 MATTERS ARISING

There were no matters arising from the previous meeting.

424 PLANNING APPLICATIONS

(a) CB/09/07049/OUT – Outline: Provision of link road (All matters reserved except access) – Land to rear of 35 to 41 High Street & St Johns Road, Arlesey

Recommended: Although the Town Council is keen to support a relief road, this application seeks planning permission to construct a link road, which is only part of the relief road.  Therefore, the Town Council recommends this application is withheld until it considers the wider development proposals of the remodelling of the High Street, Primrose Lane, Mill Lane and Station Road junction.

(b) CB/10/00061/FULL – Full: Single storey front extension and two storey side extension – 18 Carters Way, Arlesey SG15 6UQ

Recommendation: The Town Council made no objections to this proposal but request that neighbours’ comments should be taken into consideration before planning permission is granted.

An observation that was made is that this property would be the only one that would have a front extension and this may be detrimental to the street scene.
