228 ELECTION OF CHAIRMAN FOR THIS MEETING The Chairman and Vice-Chairman sent their apologies for this meeting and a proposal was needed for someone to chair the meeting. It was proposed and seconded that Cllr Hugh Harper be elected as the Chairman for the meeting. 229 APOLOGIES Apologies for absence were received from Cllr J Caffrey, Cllr I Dalgarno, Cllr N Daniels, Cllr Ms C Marshall and Cllr V Williams. 230 MEMBERS INTERESTS Agenda item 6(a) 08/01441/FULL Full: Three bay detached garage Etonbury Farmhouse, Stotfold Road, Arlesey SG15 6XB - a disclosure of personal interest was declared by Cllr D Beatham as he is a neighbour. He left the meeting when this item was discussed. Cllr H Harper, as District Councillor, took no part in the voting on the planning applications agenda item 6 (a). 231 PUBLIC PARTICIPATION There was no public participation. 232 MINUTES OF THE PREVIOUS MEETING RESOLVED that the Minutes of the meeting of the Committee held on 12 August 2008 be confirmed and signed by the Chairman as a true record. 233 MATTERS ARISING There were no matters arising from the previous meeting. 234 PLANNING APPLICATIONS (a) 08/01441/FULL Full: Three bay detached garage Etonbury Farmhouse, Stotfold Road, Arlesey SG15 6XB Recommended: to approve, no objections from the Town Council 235 PLANNING DECISIONS (a) 08/01072/FULL Full: Change of use from vacant land to residential garden use Land Rear of 3 Lewis Lane, Arlesey SG15 6FB APPROVED (b) 08/01075/FULL Full: Part single storey part two storey rear extension 15 High Street, Arlesey SG15 6RA APPROVED AGREED to note the above decisions 235 (a) and 235 (b) 236 PLANNING APPEAL 08/00007/FULL Section 73 Determination: Variation of condition 5 (windows) attached to planning permission ref: 06/00400/RM dated 16/06/06 (for the erection of 15 dwellings with garages and parking pursuant to outline planning permission ref: 2000/01151/OUT dated 07/02/02) to allow top hung mock sash windows to plots 22, 23, 24 & 25 - Fairfield Park Land adjoining Phase 1 Plots 22 to 25, Hitchin Road, Stotfold The above application was refused by MBDC and the applicant has now exercised his right of appeal against that decision. Representations to be received by 26 September 2008 AGREED to note the above planning appeal CHAIRMAN
