Minutes of a meeting of the PLANNING COMMITTEE, Arlesey Town Council held in the Village Hall, Arlesey on Tuesday 7 July 2009 PRESENT: Cllrs: V Williams (Chairman) N Daniels Mrs D Archer Mrs H Frost D Beatham H Harper Mrs L Bowskill R Harris J Caffrey M Rainbow I Dalgarno D West Also present: Mrs E Hare (Town Clerk) Mrs L Rowe (Assistant Clerk) 345 APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE Apologies for absence were received from Cllr C Howitt, Cllr Ms C Marshall and Cllr D Page 346 MEMBERS’ INTERESTS Cllr I Dalgarno, as he is also a Central Bedfordshire Councillor, took no part in the voting on the planning applications agenda items 6 (a) to 6 (c). There were no other declarations of personal or prejudicial interests received. 347 PUBLIC PARTICIPATION There was no public participation 348 MINUTES OF THE PREVIOUS MEETING RESOLVED that the Minutes of the meeting of the Planning Committee held on 16 June 2009 be confirmed and signed by the Chairman as a true record. 349 MATTERS ARISING There were no matters arising from the previous meeting. 350 PLANNING APPLICATIONS (a) CB/09/01149/LDC – Lawful Development Certificate: The implementation of planning permission 02/01752/FULL balancing pond by excavation of trench – Pond and Wildflower Meadow, Land at Pixbrook Nurseries, Stotfold Road, Arlesey Recommended: The Lawful Development Certificate is withheld as the applicant has not honoured the planning permission by the work being carried out to standard including the flood compensation scheme and the site has not been maintained (b) CB/09/01150/LDC – Lawful Development Certificate: Part implementation of planning permission 02/00532/FULL by construction of roadway to provide access into the site – Land on the North East Side of, Stotfold Road, Arlesey Recommended: To withhold the Lawful Development Certificate as the applicant has not fulfilled the original conditions of the planning permission (c) CB/09/00924/FULL – Full: Erection of Cattery Building – Fountain Cottage, Hitchin Road, Arlesey SG15 6SE Recommended: to approve this proposal as there were no objections from the Town Council CHAIRMAN |
