The Resource Centre & Library is located in the same complex as Arlesey Medical Centre and Arlesey Town Council Offices, and has parking close by with easy access to the premises for the disabled and those with prams.

The centre is open Tuesday to Saturday and offers a wide range of services.

Though the Resource Centre is managed and funded by Arlesey Town Council, Central Bedfordshire Library service provides and maintains the book stock. This means that Resource Centre users have full access to the entire CBC library catalogue, which includes books, DVD’s, and CD’s  and includes access to the virtual library.

Books can be renewed by telephone, email or via our Facebook page.

The Resource Centre & Library offers a number of business services including fax, printing, photocopying, and internet access.

There are a wide range of activities taking place in the centre during the week including:

  • Tuesday 3.30-5pm: LEGO Club
  • Wednesday 9.30am: Rhyme Time for children 0-5 yrs (Term time only) £1.80 per child
  • Thursday 2pm: Pins & Needles sewing, stitching & knitting group
  • Friday 9.30am: Storytime and craft for pre-school age children. £1.50 per child + £1 additional siblings & includes refreshments.

We also hold additional story/craft sessions during the school holidays and an annual cake sale to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.

The Centre is available to hire out of hours for meetings. Please contact us to check availability and prices.
