The Resource Centre is located in the same complex as Arlesey Medical Centre and Arlesey Town Council Offices, and has parking close by with easy access to the premises for the disabled and those with prams.

The centre is open every day apart from Sundays and offers a wide range of services.

Though the Resource Centre is managed and funded by Arlesey Town Council, Central Bedfordshire libraries service provides and maintains the book stock. This means Resource Centre users have full access to the entire CBC library catalogue, which includes books, DVD’s, and CD’s through the virtual library.

Books can be renewed by telephone, email or via our Facebook page.

The Resource Centre offers a number of business services including fax, printing, photocopying, scanning and internet access.

There are a wide range of activities taking place in the centre during the week:

  • Tuesday 8 to 9.30pm: Adult Yoga – please call Freda Dodsworth for further information (01767 627611)
  • Wednesday 9.30am: Rhyme Time for children aged 1-5 years*
  • Wednesday 10.30am: Rhyme Time for children up to 1 year*
  • Wednesday 6.15 to 8.45pm: Adult Pilates – please call Margaret Brabrook for further information (01462 730277)
  • Friday 9.15 to 10.15am: Storytime for pre-school age children. £1.20 per family (term time only)

*Booking is essential; please ring the centre to reserve a place.

We also hold regular craft sessions during the school holidays and have frequent coffee mornings and cake sales for Charity.

The Centre is available to hire out of hours for meetings. Please contact us to check availability and prices.
