The Resource Centre & Library is located in the same complex as Arlesey Medical Centre and Arlesey Town Council Offices, and has parking close by with easy access to the premises for the disabled and those with prams.

The centre is open Tuesday to Saturday and offers a wide range of services.

Though the Resource Centre is managed and funded by Arlesey Town Council, Central Bedfordshire libraries service provides and maintains the book stock. This means Resource Centre users have full access to the entire CBC library catalogue, which includes books, DVD’s, and CD’s through the virtual library.

Books can be renewed by telephone, email or via our Facebook page.

The Resource Centre offers a number of business services including fax, printing, photocopying, and internet access.

There are a wide range of activities taking place in the centre during the week including:

  • Tuesday 2.15pm: Rhyme Time for children 0-5yrs (Term time only)
  • Wednesday 9.30am: Rhyme Time for children 0-5yrs (Term time only)
  • Friday 9.30am : Storytime and craft for pre-school age children. £1.50 per family.

We also hold regular craft sessions during the school holidays and an annual cake sale to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.
