Message from Arlesey Women’s Institute regarding WI Hall Car Park

The Arlesey Women’s Institute would like to issue the following message:

The WI leave the rear car park available for community use, especially in consideration of the number of cars needing space at the beginning and end of the school day.  The Pre-school use the car park in term time but there are still spaces available.

If the Hall has been booked for an event requiring sole use of the car park an “A” board sign is put out.  This is usually only at a weekend.

But, throughout the week the hall is booked on a number of evenings for classes requiring the hirer to unload equipment, so we would be grateful if the spaces at the front of the hall could be left free, at all times for hirers of the hall only.

Thank you

Bronwen Martin

President, Arlesey Women’s Institute

Public consultation period 20 January 2017 – 3 March 2017

The Neighbourhood Planning General Regulations 2012 (Regulation 19)

The Arlesey Neighbourhood Plan is being published for a six week period.    The documents are available on Central Bedfordshire Council’s website at: http://www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/planning/policy/neighbourhood-planning/arlesey.aspx and hard copies are available to view on request at Central Bedfordshire Council’s offices at Priory House, Chicksands or at Arlesey Town Council offices, High Street, Arlesey.

The Plan has been submitted along with accompanying documents by Arlesey Town Council to Central Bedfordshire Council for formal consideration by an Examiner in accordance with planning regulations.

CBC are inviting comments on the Neighbourhood Plan, either by email to Neighbourhood.Plans@centralbedfordshire.gov.uk  or in writing to the Local Plan Team at the address shown below. All comments must be received no later than 3 March 2017

All comments will be passed to an Examiner to be considered. If the Plan is successful at Examination, it will proceed to a referendum to allow residents to vote. If the Plan is successful at referendum, Central Bedfordshire Council will ‘make’ the Plan part of the development plan for the area and use it during the consideration of planning applications.
