Minutes of a meeting of the PLANNING COMMITTEE, Arlesey Town Council held in the Village Hall, Arlesey on Tuesday 21 June 2011. Cllr I Dalgarno, as he is also a Central Bedfordshire Councillor, took no part in the voting on the planning applications agenda items 6 (a) to 6 (d). 20 PUBLIC PARTICIPATION There was no public participation 21 MINUTES OF THE PREVIOUS MEETING Prior to the meeting Members received a copy of the minutes of the Planning Committee meeting held on 7 June 2011. RESOLVED that the Minutes of the meeting of the Planning Committee held on the 7 June 2011 be confirmed and signed by the Chairman as a true record. 22 MATTERS ARISING There were no matters arising from the previous meeting. 23 PLANNING APPLICATIONS (a) CB/11/01190/FULL – Change of use to add Use Class B2 General Industrial to current B8 Warehouse Use – Units 1,2, 3 & 6 Crossways Park, Hitchin Road, Arlesey SG15 6SG Recommended: to approve this proposal subject to neighbour’s comments being taken into consideration, otherwise no objections from the Town Council (b) CB/11/01739/VOC – SE73 Variation of Condition: Erection of detached dwelling with parking area – Land to The Rear Of 175 High Street, Arlesey Recommended: to approve this variation no objections from the Town Council (c) CB/11/01657/FULL – Full: Erection of two storey extension to northern side – 16 Ramerick Gardens, Arlesey SG15 6XZ Recommended: to approve this proposal subject to neighbours’ comments being taken into consideration, otherwise no objections from the Town Council (d) CB/TPO/11/00147 – Works to trees subject to a Tree Preservation Order: Fell T1 Sycamore Tree to the rear garden and replant 1 no. 8-10cm girth Ginkgo Biloba further away from the property as a replacement, TPO MB/01/00011/TPO – 117 Chase Hill Road Road, Arlesey SG15 6UF Recommended: to approve this proposal no objections from the Town Council 24 PLANNING DECISIONS (a) CB/11/00808/FULL – Full: Proposed rear conservatory; and front entrance porch, with minor internal alteration and new parking layout – 6 St Peter’s Avenue, Arlesey SG15 6UR – GRANTED (b) CB/11/00729/FULL – Full: 2 No. one bedroom flats in two storey block and single storey extension to 1A London Row and modification to existing car parking areas – 65 Hitchin Road & 1A London Row, Arlesey SG15 6RS – REFUSED (c) CB/11/01416/FULL – Full: Construction of a new timber classroom – Gothic Mede Lower School, High Street, Arlesey SG15 6SL – GRANTED RESOLVED to note planning decisions 24 (a) to 24 (c) CHAIRMAN Date
