Minutes of a meeting of the PLANNING COMMITTEE, Arlesey Town Council held in the Village Hall, Arlesey on Tuesday 20 September 2011. PRESENT: Cllrs: N Daniels (Chairman) D Page Mrs H Frost D West C Howitt A White Also present: Mrs L Rowe (Assistant Clerk) and 6 members of the public 40 APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE An apology for absence was received from Cllr M Rainbow 41 ELECTION OF CHAIRMAN It was proposed to elect a Chairman for the remainder of 2011/2012 following the resignation of the Chairman elected on 17 May 2011. Nominated: Cllr N Daniels Proposed: Cllr D West Seconded: Cllr C Howitt It was RESOLVED that Cllr Nick Daniels is elected as the Chairman of the Planning Committee for the remainder of the year. 42 ELECTION OF VICE-CHAIRMAN The Chairman invited proposals for Vice-Chairman Nominated: Cllr C Howitt Proposed: Cllr N Daniels Seconded: Cllr A White It was RESOLVED that Cllr Chris Howitt is elected as the Vice-Chairman of the Planning Committee for the remainder of the year. 43 MEMBERS’ INTERESTS No declarations of personal or prejudicial interests were received. 44 PUBLIC PARTICIPATION There was no public participation 45 MINUTES OF THE PREVIOUS MEETING Prior to the meeting Members received a copy of the minutes of the Planning Committee meeting held on 6 September 2011. It was RESOLVED that the Minutes of the meeting of the Planning Committee held on the 6 September 2011 be confirmed and signed by the Chairman as a true record. 46 MATTERS ARISING There were no matters arising from the previous meeting. 47 PLANNING APPLICATION CB/TPO/11/00253 – Works to trees subject to a tree preservation order: Reduce the canopy by 1.5 – 2m. located within the rear garden of one Sycamore tree T10 on TPO MB/01/00011 – 117 Chase Hill Road, Arlesey SG15 6UF Recommended: to approve this proposal no objections from the Town Council 48 PLANNING DECISION CB/11/02360/NMA – Non Material Amendment: Demolition of industrial units and erection of 43 dwellings (all matters reserved except means of access) (Replacement of planning permission approved on appeal APP/J0125/A/06/2022452 dated 18 September 2007) approved on planning permission CB/10/02584/REN dated 13 June 2011. Amendment proposed to alter internal access roads. – Non-Material Amendment – GRANTED It was AGREED to note planning decision item 48 CHAIRMAN Date
