Arlesey Youth Zone

The Youth Zone is a project that provides much needed facilities for the older children in Arlesey.

The BMX track consisting of nine pieces of equipment including weaving posts, take off ramps and see saws, was installed in September 2004 and is well used.

The Skate Park consists of a half pipe, a street scene consisting of a quarter pipe and a flat bank and two grind rails and was installed in December 2005.

In total the Youth Zone cost approximately £85,000 of which £60,000 has been raised through various funders including the Arlesey Youth Zone Project Forum who raised over £1,800 through the two 'Rock-fests' that were held in the Village Hall in 2003 and 2004.
